Student Council

Student Council

Student Council is a privilege and a responsibility that requires leadership and organizational skills, because it is a student directed club. This outstanding club helps with many school activities throughout the year, interacting with fellow students, the faculty, and the community.

Student representatives are elected by their classmates in each homeroom in grades 4-8. Once all representatives are chosen, they elect officers among themselves to lead the club for the year. Some of the many events in which Student Council is involved throughout the school year are:

  • Fall Relay Activities
  • Veterans Day Celebrations
  • Brett-and-Brett Tournament
  • Grandparents Day
  • Poinsettias Sales
  • Red Ribbon/Drug Awareness Week
  • Teacher Appreciation Week
