St. Theresa School's fantastic student organization called Junior Beta Club is an academic and service oriented organization. Any student in grades 6-8, in good academic standing (No "C's" in any subject or conduct.) may be invited to join Junior Beta Club. Besides stressing the importance of academics, Beta Club promotes the virtues of honesty, service, responsibility, humility, justice, cooperation, industriousness, and charity. Beta Club students receive points for participating in community and school service projects that promote these qualities.
St. Theresa Junior Beta Club joins with other area Beta Clubs at the Junior Beta Club District Day and the state Junior Beta Convention held annually. These events offer the opportunity for the students to mingle with outstanding students from area schools and to compete in scholastic and artistic endeavors. Some students strive to maintain their grades just to be a part of this exciting club. It is truly a wonderful club to have on campus.
