Fourth through Eighth grade students learn Spanish through interactive engaging activities. Fourth and Fifth graders attend Spanish once a week for the whole school year. Sixth through Eighth graders use the McDougal Littell series entitled En Espanol in which to learn the Spanish language. Sixth through Eighth graders attend Spanish class everyday for fifty minutes per class for a one nine weeks in the year. Since the students have one nine weeks of Spanish yearly, the same text is utilized with all three grade levels. The material is organized in such a way that students build knowledge of Spanish at each grade level. Curriculum topics include the following:
